Easy Strawberry Freezer Jam
A simple sweet treat perfect for topping ice cream or a PB&J.
Approx 2 quarts
White Granulated Sugar
Begin with cleaning and cutting the tops off all strawberries. Place them in a blender or food processor to puree.
Measure out sugar and place in a mixing bowl.
Add in pureed strawberries. Mix well.
Prepare the pectin per package instructions. Mix the water and pectin in a saucepan, bring to a boil and stir for exactly 1 minute. Then remove from the heat.
Pour your pectin mix into your strawberries. Mix well.
Let set for 4-5 minutes to slightly thicken before pouring or scooping into freezer containers.
Let jam cool for 1-2 hours before covering with a lid.
Let jam cool a total of 6-12 hours prior to placing into the freezer for future use.
