Start with cleaning and scrubbing your red potatoes.
Cut your red potatoes into quarters.
Place your red potatoes into a medium sized pot, cover with water and heat on the stove over med-high heat.
Once boiling, reduce the heat until simmering. Simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the potatoes are easily broken apart by a fork.
Then drain your potatoes in a colander and place them in a medium sized mixing bowl
Add in your milk, butter, garlic salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
Use a hand mixer to mix the potatoes to the desired consistency. Add additional milk to get to desired consistency if needed.
