Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

A perfect copy cat of Applebee's Garlic Red Mashed Potatoes.

  • Hand Mixer


  • lbs Red Potatoes Cleaned
  • Cup Milk
  • 4 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Pepper


  • Start with cleaning and scrubbing your red potatoes.
  • Cut your red potatoes into quarters.
  • Place your red potatoes into a medium sized pot, cover with water and heat on the stove over med-high heat.
  • Once boiling, reduce the heat until simmering. Simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the potatoes are easily broken apart by a fork.
  • Then drain your potatoes in a colander and place them in a medium sized mixing bowl
  • Add in your milk, butter, garlic salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
  • Use a hand mixer to mix the potatoes to the desired consistency. Add additional milk to get to desired consistency if needed.
