Semi-Homemade Chicken and Dumplings
A great semi-homemade recipe featuring ingredients that are common in most households!
White Meat Chicken (12.5 Oz)
Frozen Mixed Vegetables
Or 1 Can Mixed Vegetables, Drained
Salt and Pepper To Taste
Preheat your oven to 350°.
Drain your canned chicken, dump into the bottom of your medium sized baking dish and shred using a small spatula.
Add your mixed vegetables to the baking dish.
Heat your chicken broth, to warm, but not boiling, in the microwave.
Whisk the flour into the chicken broth.
Once it is well mixed pour it on top of the chicken and vegetable mixture. Stir well.
Quarter your biscuits and place them on top of your chicken and vegetable mixture in a single layer.
Cook at 350° for 20 minutes covered with aluminum foil. Then remove the foil and cook for another 10-15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
