      Garlic Butter Sheet Pan Chicken

With kids starting to head back to school I think it’s important to have a game plan in place on how to get good healthy meals on the table in less than an hour! This Garlic Butter Sheet Pan Chicken is not only super easy to put together, but it’s delicious and ready in just about an hour!

      Preparation

Begin with preheating your oven to 400°.

Then start with snipping the ends off your fresh green beans, and placing them on one end of the sheet pan. Then rinse off your bite size golden potatoes and quarter them or cut them in to approximately 1″ pieces.

If you don’t have fresh green beans: You can use canned green beans and add them about half way through the cooking process.

Then place your chicken breasts in the center of the pan. I find the chicken tenderloins are more tender after cooking and cook faster for a quicker dinner.

After placing your ingredients on the sheet pan, begin with making your garlic butter sauce to drizzle over your veggies and chicken. Melt your butter either in the microwave or over the stove and add in the Garlic and Herb Seasoning, onion powder, salt and pepper. I used a garlic and herb seasoning that is similar to the Mrs. Dash seasoning.

      Baking

Continue with baking your Garlic Butter Sheet Pan Chicken at 400° for 45 minutes. Make sure your chicken gets to a safe temperature of 165° per USDA standards.

Slow Cooker Veggie Sloppy Joes, Red Hot Applesauce
and Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese

Cooking for large crowds has always been one of my favorite things to do! This big recipe for Slow Cooker Veggie Sloppy Joes is the perfect main dish for a larger family gathering. The recipe can also be cut in half and the remaining veggies can be used for chili or other soup/salad dishes to limit waste. I most recently made a half batch for our family 4th of July dinner and used my remaining veggies for chili. These Sloppy Joes are perfectly paired with our Slow Cooker Mac And Cheese and our Red Hot Applesauce!

      Preparation and Cooking

To begin making your Slow Cooker Veggie Sloppy Joes begin with browning your ground beef. After browning, drain your browned ground beef, and add it to your slow cooker. Then add in your ketchup and mustard and mix well. You can use a crock pot liner for easier clean up, but it is not necessary.

Continue with dicing up all of your veggies the zucchini, onion, carrots and tomato. Then mix all of your diced vegetables into the beef and sauce mixture.

Set your crock pot on low for 6 hours.

Stir your Sloppy Joe once approximately half way through cooking. This will help prevent your Sloppy Joe from crusting and burning along the edges.

After your slow cooker veggie sloppy joes have completed cooking you can serve them over baked potatoes or on buns! They are delicious either way!

If you do not have 6 hours to wait for this delicious Sloppy Joe, you can also cook it covered over medium heat on the stove for 30 minutes.
